New Delhi: Nawgati, a fuel-tech solutions provider operating across India and the UAE, has announced its official entry into Sri Lanka.
Nawgati Sri Lanka expansion marks a major step in the company’s international strategy, as it accelerates digitisation across emerging fuel markets.
Nawgati Sri Lanka expansion is driven by the country’s strong market readiness, operational similarities with India, and the presence of established Indian fuel retailers.
Comparable compliance frameworks and aligned demographic characteristics are expected to support seamless scalability and faster deployment of Nawgati’s digital platforms across the island nation.

As part of the expansion plan, Nawgati will establish its Sri Lanka headquarters at the World Trade Centre in Colombo.
The first phase of implementation will commence in Colombo, followed by a phased rollout across other high-density urban regions.
The company will introduce its flagship solutions in the market, including Aaveg, a congestion and compliance intelligence platform designed for fuel station operators and oil marketing companies, and the Nawgati Fueling App, a consumer-focused application that provides real-time fuel availability, wait-time visibility, and a more predictable fueling experience.
Commenting on the development, Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO & Co-founder of Nawgati, said the Sri Lankan market aligns closely with the company’s operational and strategic objectives.
He highlighted that regulatory alignment, market preparedness, and the presence of Indian operators offer a strong foundation for long-term scale, positioning the expansion as a milestone in Nawgati’s global growth journey.

Nawgati Sri Lanka Expansion: Collabortations with Government Stakeholders
Nawgati is currently in early-stage discussions with private-sector fuel operators in Sri Lanka and is also evaluating collaborations with government stakeholders to support nationwide deployment of compliance and monitoring infrastructure.
Over the next 2–5 years, the company aims to enable broad-based adoption of its solutions to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and digital connectivity across fuel station networks in Sri Lanka.
